Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end who played 17 seasons in the National Football League. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time, he holds the NFL record for most receiving yards of all tight ends. He also ranks third all-time in the number of receptions.

Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been a regular guest show on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the NFL's 2017 season. The pregame program, lasting an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday, which airs each Sunday beginning at 11 AM ET during the NFL Season.
Gonzalez signed a new contract with the Falcons with a two-year term and $11 million on March 15, 2013. This despite having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire after the football season of 2013. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 years old) played last season as the one of the NFL's top receivers.
